Open Letter from Paul Zammit
30/04/2010
Dear Supporters,
We're just a few hours away from the
game that can give us the reward for what we've been working for the whole
season. It was June 2009 when i was honoured with the job of managing B'Kara
FC. I knew it was going to be a transitional year for us, and we started
working immediately on building a new structure and set-up for this Club.
B'Kara FC deserves to be among the best, and this was always what we had in
mind. Throughout the season we showed that we are the best team, where the collective
was our forte. We worked so hard to see us improving game by game. Great
performances gave us good results, which resulted in being main challengers.
Before we started the Championship Pool, we knew that we had to face 10
battles.
Now here we are, waiting for the battle that can make us win the War.
Arriving to this point was not easy. The massive work from our administration,
the on-going work from the Technical Staff and the continuous support from our
supporters, were very important for us this season. Obviously, the main
ingredients were the players, who, with their positive attitude and aggressive
mentality, steered this team where it belongs - challenging for the honours. We
know that this battle can give us the 3 points we need to be Champions. To do
this, we must be prepared to fight our hearts off. We know that our supporters
can be our 12th player on the pitch. We need you to be with us at all times. We
are the heart of this B'Kara team, You are the lungs. You give us the extra
energy to push for that extra mile. I am looking forward to fight this battle
knowing that you're always behind us.
See you all at Ta Qali.
Regards
Paul Zammit
